Introduction to ARDMS Association


In the United States, sonographers must hold a qualification license to work. THE AMERICAN REGISTRY FOR DIAGNOSTIC MEDICAL SONOGRAPHY® (ARDMS) is an independent, not-for-profit organization. It is a certification body with ansi-iso17024 certification of the famous American National Standards Institute and simultaneous certification of the international organization for Standardization (ISO).

Authority of ARDMS Certificate


In the United States, medical sonographers must hold a qualification license (ARDMS) to work. Canada, Europe and Asian countries all recognize the authority of the ARDMS certificate.

To obtain the ARDMS certificate, you must register for the exam and pass the official exam eligibility review, pass the ARDMS SPI exam and a corresponding specialty examination within five years.

1.Examination Time

All exams have monthly exam schedules, and the reference time can be flexibly arranged.

2.Exam Location

The ARDMS exam subjects are administered through Pearson Vue test centers in China and around the world

Chinese test centers are: Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Hong Kong, Taiwan
