Introduction to ARDMS Association
In the United States, sonographers must hold a qualification license to work. THE AMERICAN REGISTRY FOR DIAGNOSTIC MEDICAL SONOGRAPHY® (ARDMS) is an independent, not-for-profit organization. It is a certification body with ansi-iso17024 certification of the famous American National Standards Institute and simultaneous certification of the international organization for Standardization (ISO).
Authority of ARDMS Certificate
In the United States, medical sonographers must hold a qualification license (ARDMS) to work. Canada, Europe and Asian countries all recognize the authority of the ARDMS certificate.
To obtain the ARDMS certificate, you must register for the exam and pass the official exam eligibility review, pass the ARDMS SPI exam and a corresponding specialty examination within five years.
Priority of ARDMS Certificate
Once you have obtained the ARDMS certificate, you will automatically become a CSDMS member of the Canadian Ultrasonic Medical Association and enjoy preferential treatment in employment and other benefits
